putridus, pūtrĭdus, a, um, adj. putreo. Rotten, corrupt, decayed: dentes, Cic. Pis. 1, 1: nimis jam putrida membra, Luc. 2, 141: si quid in nucleo putridi fuerit, Plin. 23, 4, 45, § 88: cadaver, Vulg. Isa. 14, 19.
